are on the future site of ABLODE.
On this date of April 27 2002, a group of nationals
from Togo, concerned with the massive Human Rights abuses
and impunity current in Africa, has decided to create
this organization to create awareness of the situation
of Human Rights in Africa in general and in Togo in
particular.
ABLODE
is a non-for-profit, non-governmental organization.
ABLODE
will protect and promote Human Rights International
standards as defined in the Universal Declaration of
Human rights.
ABLODE
will inform the international community and denounce
arrests of political leaders, unfairtrials,
the practice of torture and any other cruel treatment
of prisoners and killings in the African continent.
ABLODE
will not hesitate to denounce government entities, political
associations of any kind when they fail to respect Human
Rights.
ABLODE
will also provide assistance to the political exiles
in the communities in which they are living.
