    December 28, 1992 at 6:45 .They fired him in cold blood,,burnt his body and set his house on fire.
    - Mr NENONENE, a retired sanitary had his skull broken with a hachet after his daughter was machine-gunned by the military. On january 21, 1993 while the youth of the neighorhood of KODJOVIAKOPE and NYEKONAKPOE were trying to oppose the kidnapping of Monseigneur Phillipe KPODZRO, President of HCR members of the national police opened fire from their car on the youth wounding Mr Sewa HOUNDJOE

    WOMEN VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE AND ARBRITRARY ARRESTS

    -Mrs Madeleine ADUAYOM, Member of the High Council of the Republic ,Vice-President of the Collective of Women's association (CAF) was beaten up when leaving the studio of the national TV after a debates (September1992) by the chief of a Military batallion officially protecting the Togolese Television.

    Mrs Lydia ADANLETE spokeswoman of the CAF ,In MARCH 1993individuals in civilians clothes attacked Mrs Ayele SANT`ANNA at her home.The latter was savagely beaten up as was her nightwatchman and her servants.

    -attempt to kidnapp Mr DARA Nyininvi, high councellor of the Republic (December 22nd,1992) and the plundering of his house.

  16. - Attempt kidnapping of Mr Lanteye, member of the party of Action for Devolpment (PAD) on june 2, 1992
  17. -Captain Pello Esso Charles ,Kidnapped on july 28,1992, tortured and detained in a secret jail . To this day , no news of his whereabouts.
  18. -Mr Houyenga Raphael, Director of the Prime Minister's cabinet: his house was blown up by a heavy explosion during the night of August 28to 29 1992.
  19. -Mr Tchabana Yetimou, member of the CAR was kidnapped in September 1992 at Bafilo in daylight by individuals who were military plain-clothesmen His mutilated body was found on September 15 1992 on a section of the road between Kara Pagouda.
  20. -Mr Assih Toyi (Kabye) Professor at Benin University accussed of having given testiomony against President Eyadema at the Sovereign National Conference was kidnapped during the night of December 12 to 13 by Militaries then released after being beaten up .
  21. -Mr Amah Gnassingbe, Biologis accused of criticizing President Eyadema at the Sovereign National, was kidnapped in the night of December 12 to 13,1992 then released after being beaten up.
  22. -Mr Badjalla, member of the Togolese Union for Democracy (UTD) was submitted to an illegal search at his home with a fire and death threat in January 1993. -
